In the Media
Federal Budget
Patriotic Millionaires Canada organized a letter signed by 45 wealthy Canadians demanding that the Federal Budget announced in Fall 2025 include taxes for the ultra-rich. The letter highlights data from the Parliamentary Budget Officer on extreme wealth inequality in Canada, and highlights several proposals to tax extreme wealth.
G7 in Canada
In 2025, Canada will be hosting the G7, and has an opportunity to be a global leader to maintain the momentum from the 2024 G20 on effectively taxing extreme wealth.
Before G7 leaders gathered in Alberta, Patriotic Millionaires Canada partnered with Oxfam Canada, Oxfam Quebec, and Canadians for Tax Fairness, for a panel event in Ottawa discussing Canada’s leadership opportunity on economic equality.
We followed up our event with our report: "Fighting Wealth Inequality in the G7: Revenue Estimate for Wealth Taxes".
We took our message directly to the G7 leaders, with a billboard truck circling the conference in Alberta highlighting key facts from our report and encouraging them to Tax the Ultra-Rich.

We Must Draw The Line
Every year, we recruit millionaires from around the world to sign an open letter to business and political leaders attending the World Economic Forum conference in Davos highlighting the need for taxing the rich to address the world’s challenges. Proud To Pay More
We joined hundreds of our fellow millionaires declaring we were “Proud to Pay More” and calling for higher taxes on the wealthy. The letter was accompanied by new polling and a report showing millionaires around the world agree with us.
